Abandoned Malls & Cultists

ENG This is a game about urban exploration, summer adventures and magic. It has been inspired by Izzy Marsh’s Small Town Gothic . It is also heavily inspired by that one time I went doing urban exploration in a place where there were said to be Satanists and it turned out they were really there. But this version is a little funnier.

The typical adventuring party is composed by high-schoolers who are busy exploring places they are not supposed to look into. They don’t have that much resources, except their phones and very little common sense. They are not wizards, fighters or rogues, even if they might learn how to cast a spell, swing a bat or pick a lock. Equally, most of their opponents just want to be left alone. Cultists just want to finish their rituals. Dwellers of the dark places just want to keep dwelling in their dark places (please, sir, put down that torch). Police officers just want to sleep in their cars, instead of running into kids.

ITA E' un gioco di esplorazione urbana, avventure estive e magia, ispirato a Small Town Gothic di Izzy Marsh. Prende anche parecchia ispirazione da quella volta che sono andato a esplorare una cascina abbandonata dove tutti dicevano che si radunavano i satanisti ed è saltato fuori che i satanisti c'erano davvero. Questa è la versione più divertente di quella storia.

Il tipico gruppo è composto da ragazzi delle superiori che esplorano posti in cui non dovrebbero ficcare il naso. Non hanno molto con sè, a parte i loro telefoni e pochissimo buon senso. Non sono maghi, combattenti o ladri, anche se potrebbero imparare a lanciare un incantesimo, colpire con un bastone o scassinare una serratura. Allo stesso modo, la maggior parte dei nemici vuole soltanto essere lasciata in pace. I cultisti vogliono solo finire i loro rituali. Le creature che vivono nelle ombre vorrebbero continuare a vivere tranquille nelle ombre (per favore, ragazzo, metti giù quella torcia). I poliziotti vogliono dormire in macchina, non inseguire ragazzini.
